Who would benefit if I stopped reporting on the EPD text scandal?

Only one person has commented on my posts on the EPD text scandal. It is obvious that this person is from the Eureka Police Department, is connected to someone at EPD or has been given internal information and is trying to mislead the public.

Besides someone with an agenda at EPD, the City of Eureka, other media that has been called out or someone afraid that the "EPD text scandal" will also expose them, no one else would benefit from silencing my coverage. No one else would be so persistent in less than 12 hours to troll.

This person has never commented on any of my posts until yesterday. This person only commented on two posts and both expose EPD Officer Matthew White. This person is singling out Sgt. Rodrigo Sanchez and trying to harass/intimidate my coverage of the alleged "EPD text scandal."

Yesterday, five days after EPD Officer Matt White was exposed in a post, there is a comment on that post. The same day there is another post about White. The same day I call out certain other media.

I respond to the troll and the anonymous coward does not respond or verify but persists with incorrect/misleading information.

I deleted the comment because no verification was provided and blocked "Marquis". The response to the comment was automatically deleted.

Sgt. Sanchez was White's supervisor, however, "Marquis" is incorrect because at the time of the excessive force incident, Sgt. Sanchez was not his supervisor.

As I mentioned in my response, "Marquis" knows what has been written about this excessive force incident on my blog. If "Marquis" did not bother to read the posts, then it only proves further that this was an attempt to use Sgt. Sanchez to deflect attention.

The comment about "Marquis" was a blatant attempt to stir up shit online based on incorrect/misleading information.

Facebook sucks because even despite blocking and banning a person, sometimes they can get through. Online, no one is anonymous. Why hide and troll?

"Marquis" sends me another comment. Once again, on a post about White. Only someone from inside the department would know EPD Chief Steve Watson sent out a systemwide email saying White was still employed and on vacation. The fact that White has not left yet was addressed in yesterday's post.

Wonder what prompted that department email and when it was sent? 🤔 That is a rhetorical question.

"Marquis" is stupid and arrogant.

This is another attempt to stir up misinformation to others who only read Facebook links and have emotional responses online based on some random comment designed to distract from facts.

Facebook, Twitter and their stleath, anonymous and fake accounts are the reason for misinformation, decline in real journalism, misconception about what people consider news. Social media destroys people's lives and reputation based on misdirected anger and a mob mentality with callous disregard to facts.

People jump to conclusions based on links, headlines and do not bother to read the entire post/article.

Anonymous trolls = zero credibility. When your misinformation can be checked out, you are just a low life wanting to create chaos. From previous posts, starting with my initial post, I have said the Sacramento Bee leaker had motives. It was a distraction and some are pissed that years of real issues at EPD and certain people are being exposed.

"Marquis" do not continue to interrupt my work, try and silence me, and harass me with facts I can check and investigate.

If you have not read all my posts on the EPD text scandal, then you need to do so. They have been linked multiple times. I am busy and don't have time to to type everything about White or what is reported previously.

I asked who profited from the two officers in the Sacramento Bee being gone as well as raised other questions.
