Will Newsom reject the $$8,800 or pull a French Laundry on Californians who have suffered due to his selective choices and decisions?

Governor Gavin Newsom and California legislators and other state elected officials are getting more money.

The 4.2% salary increase takes effect in December. The California Citizens Compensation Commission is appointed by the governor and voted 4 - 0 to approve the pay hikes at its annual meeting  on Tuesday. 

California Legislators already had the highest base salary for state lawmakers in the country. This pay raise bumps the official salary of state legislators up to $119,700.  This would make Newsom's salary $218,500. 

Will Newsom reject the $$8,800 or pull a French Laundry on Californians who have suffered due to his selective choices and decisions, especially during the COVID 19 "emergency" that he is still milking to abuse his power?
