No resolution yet, jury trial for Sean Allman confirmed

 


Sean Allman had trial confirmation scheduled this morning. Jury trial scheduled for July 19 was confirmed. Time estimate is two weeks.

Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Mr. Ben Okin is Allman's attorney.

Mr. Okin said that he had been discussing "possibilities of resolution " with Ms. Timm "but we are nowhere close to fruition."

In his 2019 case, Allman is charged with Count 1 Terrorizing or Obstructing Exercise of Religion. Count 2 is Criminal Threats. Both counts pertain to the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California.

In December 2020, Allman was arrested by Fortuna Police Department on two DUI charges,VC23152(a) and VC 23152 (f) as well as one charge of BP4060, possession of medication without a prescription. All three charges are misdemeanors and he was released on O.R.

No charges were filed for that incident.
