Special treatment for attorney's wife who does court posts for LOCO?

I have mentioned many times that Rhonda Parker who does the random court posts on Lost Coast Outpost is married to criminal defense attorney, Greg Rael.  Certain hypocritical local media and community members have ignored that conflict of interest. They ignore many things, including what news they chose to cover.

I also was told by court CEO Kim Bartleson and others in court admin that there is no special treatment for anyone, including any media, several times.

The livestream broadcast via YouTube is no longer available for media and public now that the courts are open. Only attorneys and defendants can appear via remote appearance.

Even during the pandemic, there were two separate livestreams with clear instructions. So how long has Parker been on Zoom for attorneys and defendants?

I was wondering how Rhonda was covering courts since the You Tube feed ended because I had not seen her on the second floor. Today, I saw her name on the Zoom monitor in Courtroom 2.

Judge Kaleb Cockrum may or may not know who she is or should have asked about a name that clearly isn't a defendant or attorney.  I wouldn't sneak in and I couldn't because people do know my name.

LOCO does not get to skirt the rules. If one member of the media is allowed on that livestream, all.of us should have access to it. On that Zoom, Rhonda can see chats between attorneys and defendants.

There was a press release, the rules are clear on the website so this isn't an oopsie. The Zoom for attorneys allows them to chat and no member of the media or public should be privy to that, especially when they are not supposed to be on a restricted Zoom/livestream.

I just saw Court Operations Manager Kelly Nyberg and informed her and checked with her about media and public not being allowed on livestream. I was correct. I will be informing Ms. Bartleson via email. They are looking into the situation.

Yesterday, Judge Kelly Neel noticed someone who was just a member of the public, who was out of state, signed on and politely explained that they could not be on livestream.  She is fair.
