Criminal proceedings reinstated in murder suspect Albert Kress' case

 

I have not covered Albert Kress' case because criminal proceedings had been suspended and he was waiting to be transported to the State Hospital.

Criminal proceedings were reinstated on all three of his cases.   What was unusual was that competency was restored based on based on his attorney's request declaration and a report from the jail's competency based program.

His case will be reassigned to another attorney since Public Defender Marek Reavis is retiring on July 2. Further setting is scheduled on June 9.
