Are we paying Public Defender Reavis to blog instead of working?

 

I reported this morning that Public Defender Marek Reavis was a no show in court for the Albert Kress.

I got t a link sent to me just a few minutes ago with this message: "Please see link to Blog written by Reavis time stamped this morning when he was supposed to be in Court for a minority murder suspect. He’s writing about drugs and not appearing in Court."

If Mr. Reavis is working, why can't he be in court? If he is not working, he is in charge of the PD's office and should have made sure an attorney was there. The case was on at 8:30, the court waited for someone to appear on the case, and called the case again, a few minutes after 9 a.m.
