Trial setting and hearing on three defense motions in Ray Christie's case were continued to November 18 and was continued again to January 5. Judge Christopher Wilson is ill and has not been on for weeks. This will be the fourth continuance.
One is a supplemental motion to clarify a discovery motion. The motion to dismiss has to do with double jeopardy. There is another motion to unseal Exhibit 3 of the jury note.
Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward and Deputy DA David Moutrie are prosecutors for the case. Mr. Moutrie was in court today.
Mr. John Cogorno and Mr. Ken Bareilles are Christie's attorneys. Mr. Cogorno and Christie appeared via Zoom.
