Sexually violent predator Joshua Cooley had another placement review hearing scheduled this morning.
Next court date is December 4. Information about this placement was just received by Judge John Feeney prior to court today.
There wasn't enough time to notify the Sacramento District Attorney before today's hearing. Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads will notify the Sacramento DA's office. Liberty Healthcare will begin the notification process for the community. Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell said she is "very hopeful" about this placement. There is a very short timeline and if there is a delay, this placement will not be available.
I have been the only one who has followed every single hearing. Previous posts can be accessed for background for those not familiar with the background and ongoing developments in the case.
