After my last two  EPD posts, I was in the middle of writing another post about the "rot from the top."

Just now I was contacted by someone. What this person shared with me only reiterated what I suspected about the City of Eureka's mishandling of the "EPD texts"; a situation created by the City of Eureka, poor choices and ineffective leadership.

The California Judicial Council brags about efficiency using remote court proceedings. Did they get input from the public, the ones whose lives are affected most? Do they consider the challenges for smaller, rural courts?

This car has been in the same spot for at least a week or more. I have walked by at different times and there is no sign of life. For the last several months, this spot near 3rd and V always has some empty abandoned car (s) parked but usually shady looking characters dart in and out, furtive glances,  with beat up cars pulling up and leaving within minutes.

There could be a dead body in that car but who would know? No one cares.
