John D Pegg or JD Pegg already unloaded one business to a new owner. So what is going on with Siren's Song? Assessor's shows Healy LLC as owner of 325 2nd Street.
Does he still own it? Nothing about new ownership on Facebook. Online search doesn't give much information other than what I already know when JD bought both businesses.
So many excuses to the press and customers and that was shortly after he started both businesses. It is always someone else's fault; never JD's.
I tried to give JD helpful feedback about issues I was hearing about including telling him his other business was closed. No staff. No note. He didn't want to put in the effort and after one bs response after another; I spent my time and money supporting local businesses who care about their reputation and customers.
JD is on Facebook way too much. It would be one thing if he was still running his businesses properly and successfully.
This is a small town. People talk to each other including employees and customers. Does JD really think people don't know why he no longer owns the other business and why it was closed more often than open?
There are many local owners who work 24/7 and are successful despite challenges. They do well because they work hard and take good care of their employers and customers. Support them.
Next time JD snarks on FB, ask him if he has a business for sale. Pissing off the Kramer family isn't the formula to success in Humboldt.
