Convicted sex offender and second suspect in Bear River homicide Von Keener is in court with Bear River homicide suspect Mauricio Johnson's mother.

Setting of preliminary hearing and a possible plea deal was scheduled this morning in court. The number of family and supporters for the victims outnumbers who is in court for Johnson.

I did a detailed post about the potential plea deal and today's hearing yesterday with exclusive details. In that post, I mentioned another continuance. Next court date is October 26.

Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for the case. Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Johnson's attorney.
