Maybe Natalie and Leslie can do another photo op near the Eureka Fallen Firefighter Memorial vandalism and pretend "they care" instead of doing something about the insolent bums that plague Old Town and downtown Eureka.

I singled out Eureka Councilmember Natalie Arroyo since she wants to run for 4th District Supervisor and Eureka Councilmember Leslie Castellano since this is her district. An interpretive dance isn't going to solve the issues in Old Town and Leslie's district. 

Maybe Susan Seaman can send out another useless PSA this Friday. By now, there should have at least been a press release from the City of Eureka condemning the asshole (s) who did this act. Demonstrate with action you respect our firefighters.

Local businesses and residents of Eureka have to put with up vandalism every day.  When the City of Eureka's leadership does not show proper respect for police and fire; when elected officials do not strongly denounce vandalism and criminals, we have a disrespectful and lawless community.

What a waste of Humboldt Bay Fire and City of Eureka resources this afternoon. Why should firefighters have to clean up the denigration by a vandal because we have weak leaders? EPD has enough to do without having to chase down this freak (s). 

Will Susan Seaman and this Council recognize Cruz N Eureka and other wonderful community events or any of the stellar local businesses in community conversations or do we have to only read/hear about their cronies and partisan supporters'  businesses? 

Will this Council ever thank EPD and HBF for their tireless work despite being inundated call after call? Do you know how many drug overdoses/medical calls EPD, HBF and City Ambulance respond to in an hour? A day?  Some ingrate decided to desecrate a memorial to heroes.

I am fed up of the tolerance and enabling towards bums and addicts while no help is given to hard working people struggling to survive.

I don't want to link all the previous arson and vandalism arrest posts from Old Town and Downtown.  The "regulars" you see on the jail log  wander all around town thinking they are entitled to trash, vandalize and steal. The chance that this was done by some bum is 99.9 %. Could it be someone like a "Stayn"? Even if it is; the definition of a bum would apply.
