Alleged molestor Miles Neiva's preliminary hearing is scheduled on September 30. Deputy Conflict Counsel Owen Tipps is Neiva's attorney. Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads is the prosecutor for this case.
There are two incidents alleged in the complaint. One took place in Scotia and one in Fortuna.
9/30: Preliminary continued to November 10. Defense continuance granted because there is further discovery.
11/10: OR review on 11/15/22. Preliminary hearing continued to 1/26/22 because Mr. Zach Curtis was apppointed.
11/15: Bail remains as set $825,000 w/o prejudice. OR denied.
