Murderers, rapists involved in one of the biggest tax payer frauds in California history

"It is said there is no honor among thieves," said the first speaker (pictured above) at a press conference about the widespread EDD fraud across California within county jails and prisons. 

I did a post earlier this morning about this press conference which is taking place now. Speakers include the District Attorneys of Sacramento, El Dorado, Kern and San Mateo counties and the US Attorney of the Eastern District of California I reported previously on the fraud discovered by the San Mateo DA.

Money that should have gone to you during this pandemic was fraudently obtained by "tens of thousands of inmates" and those involved were criminals in local, state and federal jails and prisons. This included murderers, those doing life, rapists and child molesters.

San Quentin inmate Scott Peterson, convicted of killing his wife and unborn son and convicted serial killer Cary Stayner, who murdered two women and two girls near Yosemite in 1999 and is on death row are among these inmates.

The money was spent on luxury cars and short term rentals. This is one of the biggest taxpayer frauds in California history.

Beverly Hills was "one of the leaders" in this scam. It occurred "in the streets and the jails"."Hundreds of millions" of dollars adding to an "upward of billions" was paid out. A statewide EDD fraud task force has been established.
