Victoria Shirley has been arrested for assault,domestic battery, stabbing and today she was, once again, wasting EPD and medical resources.
Around 12:40, I was walking by the Subaru dealership on 5th Street. Shirley was bawling.
She has been given opportunities to get into housing, released from custody numerous times but she choses to date multiple men, beat on her ex sex offender boyfriend, use her pregnancy to stay outof custody and hang out with drug addicts in Old Downtown and Downtown Eureka.
This is what the ill conceived Ninth Circuit ruling and California criminal enabling laws have wreaked on society. It benefits career criminals like Shirley and does nothing for criminal justice reform.
