CalMatters reports that at the dinner party Governor Gavin Newsom attended during the pandemic, apologized for when he got caught, included Dustin Corcoran, CEO of the California Medical Association, and Janus Norman, the group’s lobbyist and senior vice president.
The birthday party was for lobbyist Jason Kinney, a longtime political adviser to Newsom and was held at the French Laundry, an exclusive restaurant in Napa County. People were sitting close together and not wearing masks.
