Trial confirmation for murder suspect Pamela Millsap was scheduled this morning.
They forgot to turn the livestream on, once again in 2, once again when Judge Kaleb Cockrum was calling the calendar.
There is no reason to know why. So defendants, families, victims and anyone just sits around waiting and wondering.
Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm is the prosecutor for the case. Deputy Conflict Counsel April Van Dyke is Millsap's attorney.
Ms. Van Dyke said she could not confirm at this time. It has been difficult to retain the experts she needs due to COVID 19 but there is "more availability now." Ms. Van Dyke has to provide those reports to Ms. Timm.
Ms. Timm provide a two week estimate but that is subject to change when the defense reports are received.
Jury trial for July 12 remains set for now. Ms. Van Dyke may file a motion to continue, if neccessary.
Millsap appeared via Zoom.
