Please join us in congratulating our June Employee of the Month Sergeant Greg Allen!
Sgt. Allen was nominated by Undersheriff Justin Braud, who had the following to say about Sgt. Allen’s incredible character and leadership:
“Sergeant Allen is one of the hardest working and most dedicated people I have ever known or worked with. Sergeant Allen currently supervises a patrol crew, oversees the Field Training Program (FTP), and is the Team Leader for the Crisis Negotiations Team (CNT), among other responsibilities. Despite being pulled in many directions, Sergeant Allen operates each of his assignments at a high level, and I routinely hear praise about him from his subordinates, peers, and supervisors. Despite all these assignments, and assisting with coaching youth sports in his free time, Sergeant Allen still finds time to volunteer for vacant position relief and special projects.
While all of this would be enough to warrant recognition, what impresses me most about Sergeant Allen is his “can do” attitude, his enduring positivity, and the way he has always been so charismatic and approachable. No matter the circumstances, Sergeant Allen seems to always be able to approach things with a calm and even keel that is both magnetic and effective. I truly value all that Sergeant Allen has done for our agency and community.”
