Just yesterday, I did a post on Eureka Mayor and City Council positions. No one had qualified as of yesterday. I checked with Assistant City Manager/City Clerk Pam Powell and neither Leslie Castellano or John Fullerton have returned their forms.
Leslie Castellano is running for re-election. There have been rumblings from a couple people in the conservative circles that John Fullerton wants to run for Mayor. Another person said Fullerton is runming for Councilmember, again.
I have not heard anything recently but after the last election, Joe Bonino said he was going to run again.
Assistant Manager/ City Clerk Pam Powell told me, "Hi John. Leslie has pulled her paperwork but I have not received her forms back as of yet. John did post on his fb that he was considering running for ward 3 but he has not returned his forms as of yet. "
