Litigation on the Humboldt County Board Supervisor's agenda is regular and frequent. This item under closed session seems to be about the election and it isn't a lawsuit from former Auditor Controller Karen Paz Dominguez.

Tiffany Hunt Nielsen is in a runoff with Juan Cervantes for Clerk Recorder and Registar of Voters. Nielsen is being represented by Mr. Dustin Owens. This was just filed on 8/19/22.
Nielsen responded on my Facebook page. Court records don't have any information other than a judicial review/writ of mandate. There is a petition hearing scheduled on 8/29.
8/29:8/29 The petition was unopposed by County Counsel and it was granted by Judge Timothy Canning.
