One 4th of July suspect already arraigned, gets one more charge and a new attorney

(Olivas)

(Boxell)

I did a post on August 15 about charges and arraignment for 4th of July suspects 4th of Dylan Cody Olivas and Joseph Boxell.

Olivas is still scheduled for arraignment tomorrow. I will add an update from his arraignment to this post. Since that post, there have been a few changes for Boxell.

Boxell was arraigned 7/27. There was an OR/bail hearing on 7/29. Boxell's preliminary hearing scheduled 8/8 was continued to 9/21.

Public Defender's office was originally appointed for Boxell,; that office declared conflict andthe office of Conflict Counsel was appointed. Charges have been amended for Boxell and Ct 2 has been added PC 245 (a) 4 assault likely to produce great bodily injury. Motion for Boxell's release denied.
