Cousin's street suspect now charged with more serious crime of rape

 

Cousin's Street suspect Matthew Esparza was arraigned on information this afternoon. Pre-trial for two other cases which are trailing. 

In the complaint for jury trial, Count 1 is a different charge. Esparza is charged with rape by use of intoxicating or anesthetic or any controlled substance.

Trial confirmation is on 9/29; jury trial is on 10/10.

9/29: Jury trial confirmed. 3 week time estimate. Two other 2021 cases have pre trials scheduled and are trailing.
