I reported on most of these candidates already. Here is the official list from the City of Eureka. Leslie Castellano is running unopposed. Unless someone else qualifies by August 17, Kim Bergel will be the only candidate for Mayor.

The following candidates have qualified for offices of Councilmember in the City of Eureka, at the General Municipal Election to be held November 8, 2022. The nomination period is now closed for all Council positions and is extended until 4 PM, August 17, 2022 for the position of Mayor.

8/17: Assistant City Manager/City Clerk told me today Bergel's signatures were verified by the County this morning and she qualified.
