Would Rex still oppose this bill if his buddy Billy wasn't the Sheriff?

 

We all know how Rex reacts when anyone dares challenge him and his authoritah! His behavior towards Karen Paz Dominguez alone is one glaring example and public knowledge.

Would Rex still oppose this bill if his buddy Billy wasn't the Sheriff? If Matt Tomlin, Pete Ciarabellini and Rex's other buddies were not employed by HCSO, would Rex  oppose yet another bill that is designed to curb abuse of power and conflict of interest, especially in small, rural communities where the Humboldt cabal and connected need to be reined in?

Funny, how Rex, the Board of Supervisors and the rest of the so called lame local media never address the constant litigation costs and settlements against this County. That alone would make a difference in the County budget.
