Frequently arrested and convicted sex offender Robert Lamont Munts was arrested by Eureka Police Department on August 15 for HS 11350(a) possession of controlled substance, PC 148 (a) (1) resisting arrest and PC 647 (f) public intoxication. Out on O.R, Munts wasted no time being his usual pervy self.
Families and others present at the Courthouse on August 16 spoke with me about an incident involving Munts.
On 8/16, in the afternoon, Munts was in front of 5th Street entrance to the Courthouse. He entered the building, made it through the security check. Munts was dressed in ladies underwear with his genitalia exposed due to the ill fighting undergarments and had a pink tutu top. One lady shielded her kid's eyes. A HCSO deputy told Munts to leave the building. I believe Munts is not allowed in the Courthouse unless he is here for business.
I cleaned up the language in describing the incident. "Take a hike" and "Tinkerbell exposing his junk" were some of the phrases used by annoyed community members.
Before the woke Humboldt crowd gets their knickers in a twist, Munts isn't expressing or being himself. He is a creepy drunk who wants attention. Munts wears what he does to see what he can get away with in public and to antagonize people.
Munts is free to wear what he wants as long as he is not exposing himself to children and the public.
Judge Timothy Canning had to admonish Munts in court in a 2018 hearing. In the same hearing, Munts chose to address the Deputy Attorney Genera by his first name.
I only posted twice about Munts. Munts has 56 cases in the Humboldt Superior Court system. This does not include his 2022 arrest.
He has been thrown out of the former Smokestack cafe by the owner and asked to leave the Courthouse more than once.
