Samantha Luna resolved her case on April 5, 2022 with 7 misdemeanor counts with an informal diversion. Today, she successfully completed the terms of her diversion, and her case was dismissed.
I used stronger words in my last post about this plea which is a slap in the face to local law enforcement who do a thankless job under very stressful and challenging circumstances.
Her arrest made headlines. As usual, none of the local media followed this case after the initial headlines and if they report on this today, it will be after this post.
