On 10/17, at a pre trial hearing in Javier Akeem Ruiz-Keyes pimping case people's motion to consolidate was granted. Motion to dismiss is scheduled for 10/27. Trial confirmation is scheduled for 10/31; jury trial for 11/7.
In his other case on 10/17, Ruiz-Keyes was held to answer after his preliminary hearing. Defense motion to supress was denied. Arraignment on information is scheduled for 10/31.
Between the defense's motions and the People's dismissing and refiling charges, Ruiz-Keyes's cases are a mess. Read previous posts on all his cases and charges. New posts will be done if there is anything significant. Dates and other updates will be added to this post when I have time.
