"I never said anything about shacks and shambles," Third District Supervisor Mike Wilson just said about two minutes ago. "Please don't put words in my mouth." This was addressed to Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell who had just finished commenting on the AOB.
Bushnell just got told by Wilson and my 30 seconds of checking into the usually boring Humboldt County Board of Supervisors' meeting was worth it.
Bushnell and her buddy, First District Supervisor Rex Bohn, are and have been rude, disrespectful and dismissive to many people and all you have to do is watch any Board of Supervisor meetings this year, especially before the June 7, 2022 election.
Today is is just a preview of their comeuppance next year when they will be in the minority on the Board.
Politics has no loyalty. You only have power as long as you are useful. I am out walking and talking to people, including many who Bushnell and Bohn consider their funders and supporters. We all know that privately people in Humboldt express different opinions than what they may or may not say in public and with good reason.
I don't think I have ever seen Supervisor Wilson so vocal. He should do it more often.
