Who do you trust City of Arcata's or Brett Watson's investigator?

I looked up both the City of Arcata and Arcata Councilmember Brett Watson's investigators to see of they had a license. The rest of the local media regurgitated press releases and information without even bothering to do a simple Google search.

This is what Brett Watson claims in a statement on his website:

"In my determination to provide the truth to the public, I hired an experienced and licensed Northern California investigator, Baker Street Investigations (BSI), at my own expense, to conduct a new independent and unbiased investigation into why the City-funded Kramer Workplace Investigations (KWI) (owned by Karen Kramer) was so poorly done, and what really happened."

"-According to the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services, Karen Kramer is not a licensed investigator."

This is what comes up in the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services for John Garretson of Baker Street Investigations, the investigator Watson hired.

There are 6 searches for BSI but the Santa Rosa location license is active.

Karen Kramer of Karen Workplace Investigations has an active license according to the California State Bar.

She is listed as a member of the Association of Workplace Investigators.
