I was right about Matt Tomlin resigning from HCSO. and that he has accepted a position at St. Bernard's
I had mentioned an email in previous coverage about Tomlin resigning from HCSO and being paid at St. Bernard's.
Rex Bohn posted about Tomlin's "retirement"last day being November 28 on Facebook. This was on October 11 and after my posts. Humboldt Sheriff Honsal and Humboldt County HR never bothered to respond to me but that was expected and no surprise.
Very convenient that HCSO and the County said records regarding Tomlin weren't disclosable. Rex called him his "buddy." Now he heads over to a private institution where his salary and other information is not public record and it makes it harder to find out why he is left HCSO.
The question still remains unanswered that when did this leaving HCSO plan start? What prompted it?
