Do you want Schneider's attorney, Rex's buddies and the good ole boys in charge of elections office and City of Eureka?

I reached out to the Humboldt County Elections Office as well as the City of Eureka for Form 460 for the following candidates. The information I have is available to any of you. 

County Clerk, Recorder Registrar candidates:

Juan Pablo Cervantes

Tiffany Hunt Nielsen

Eureka City Council – Ward 3 candidates:

John Fullerton 

G. Mario Fernandez 

Eureka City Council – Ward 5  candidates:

Nicholas Kohl

Renee Contreras Deloach 

I am not going to post pages of documents. You can go to the appropriate websites or the offices and look at the forms.

For the County, the next 460 filing deadline is October 27, 2022. That will cover the period 9/25/2022 through 10/22/2022.

For the City of Eureka, the next set of 460s are due tomorrow on October 27th. That will cover the period 9/25/2022 through 10/22/2022.

Fullerton and Deloach have already filed the 460s for the period 9/25/2022 through 10/22/2022.

Besides herself, family members from Texas, DeLoach got money from local lawyer Jeanne Gale. Her expenses are minimal with mailing, door hangers and filing fee.

Fullerton's donors include Michelle Blackwell (Take Back Eureka and former Eureka City Council candidate Michelle Costantine and wife of Shane Blackwell), Jeff Lamoree, Schmidbauer and Carbonneau families and Marc Matteoli. If you think real estate, contractors and the good ole boy  crowd who hang out and support Rex Bohn, Mike Newman et al have your best interests; then Fullerton is your man.

I was the only one who reported on October 16 that "In listing all his qualifications, why has John Fullerton not mentioned his appointment to the Humboldt County audit committee? " 

Fullerton is related by marriage to the Warmuth family. Another Humboldt six degrees of separation connection to Rex. How much more control do you want the same few people to have in Humboldt?

For Cervantes and Nielsen, the information is from 460s covering the last three months.

Cervantes has the endorsement of former Clerk-Recorder Carolyn Crnich and regular people. 

Nielsen relatives include the Hunt and Nielsen families. Their local alliances are well known to anyone paying attention and what crowd they associate with on a regular basis. Besides being her attorney, Dustin Owens who represents Travis Schneider and many of the good ole boy property owners and property management companies, is also a donor to Nielsen's campaign.

Nielsen's donors include the California Real Estate Political Action Committee, Jack Rieke, Chet Albin, Humboldt GOP fixture Minnie Wolf, Morrison and Morrison law firm, Kramer Investment Corporation, Coldwell Banker and Tina Christensen.

Times Printing owned by the generational Strope family benefits the most at election time with almost every candidate using them.

The position of County Clerk, Recorder and Registrar is very crucial. Your vote is one of the few things big money hasn't ursurped. 

Does the makeup of Eureka City Council matter? It does unless you like the same failed leadership and their friends getting rich for decades while you are at the mercy and whim of these people who want to control every aspect of your life and every aspect of Humboldt. 

They could care less that you pay Bay Area rents for sub standard properties with dwindling local income opportunities that don't even make the bare minimum to afford basics or struggle to make payroll for your small business which they decide to throw the few crumbs their buddies like Bongio, Schneider et al dont want.

Unlike certain other local candidates, my site is not the only local media with an ad from Juan. He is advertising on Facebook and on several other local media covering a wide range of voters.

Juan is all about professionalism, fairness and equal treatment which is evident in every interaction I have had with him, even prior to this election year.

When a candidate is diverse in their donors and in actions reaching out to a wide variety of sources and not singling out certain media sources, it shows that this is an elected official who realizes they represent all constituents.**
