Las Michoacanas located on 5th Street in Eureka has been open for a year. The new owners are related to Rita who restaurant operated at that location for years. I knew months ago the business partners Perla Osorio and Socorro Osorio aka Socorro Sanchez had parted ways.
Now, they are suing each other over the contract and agreement. Today, there was a hearing for motion to strike portions of cross complaint + demurrer to first amended cross complaint.
I will add court minutes when they are available.
To get an idea of the dispute, excerpts of some of the many documents filed are listed below.
8/29: Demurrer was sustained with leave to amend. Motion to strike dropped from calendar. CMC on 11/4.
