I emailed District Attorney Maggie Fleming today to check on the status of Humboldt Superior Court's family mediator Joseph Hale's case. No charges have been filed yet. The DA's office has to receive a report from the arresting agency, which is reviewed to decide whether charges will be filed.
DA confirmed the arresting agency was the DA's office. "Our Investigation Division has not yet completed a report ready to be reviewed for possible charges."
Hale was arrested on June 29 for PC 647(j) (2) criminal invasion of privacy. Hale previously worked for CWS.
