Cousins Street suspect charged with four felonies and a special allegation

 


Matthew Esparza was arraigned on three cases today. One case is from the May 29 arrest..The other two cases are from 2021.

Bail in the 2022 case was  set at $200,000 by Judge John Feeney.  Bail set at $25,000 each for the other two cases. Protective order was served in court. 

The Public Defender's office was appointed. Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin asked for a supervised release referral. No time waiver for the 2022 felony case; time waiver entered for the two misdemeanor cases which will trail the Cousins Street case.

OR/bail was scheduled for June 3; preliminary hearing June 13.

No other media was in court.
