"The State Bar just gave up."

The State Bar was appealing Judge Phong Wang's ruling  regarding the disciplinary charges filed against Humboldt Deputy County Counsel Natalie Duke and former Deputy County Counsel Blair Angus.

Last month, the State Bar  withdrew their Request to Review. A few people which included members from the legal community in Humboldt and California, people in Humboldt who knew the Magneys and others who have personally experienced the California courts letting them down expressed their disappointment. I agree with the person who said, "The State Bar just gave up."

If you are not familiar with the charges and history, read the previous coverage. You should also search my coverage on the Magney case.
