How much have you the taxpayers paid in litigation costs and problem employees because the BOS is incompetent?

Blair Angus retired and Natalie Duke is still employed with the County Counsel's office. Only I have covered that disciplinary charges have been filed against Angus and Deputy County Counsel Natalie Duke in State Bar Court. This is for the Magney lawsuit.

I was told that on the Board agenda on July 28, 2020, "in closed session, the board voted to provide free attorneys to fight the disciplinary proceedings."

These are the items under that July 28 agenda.

The County BOS do nothing to address issues with problem employees and when there is litigation, pay the legal fees of these County employees. As I pointed out in the Rory Kalin lawsuits coverage, the County is paying for attorneys out of the area to represent Public Defender Marek Reavis and Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield?

On this week's Board of Supervisor's meeting agenda, they are meeting in closed session to discuss this item.

Board of Supervisors - Closed Session 2. 3:30 p.m. - Conference with Legal Counsel – Existing Litigation (§ 54956.9): Angus and Duke, State Bar Case Nos. SBC-20-O-30802-PW; SBC-20-O-30803-PW.

I am not going to list every post I have done on the costs to the taxpayers and litigation but you can search the blog and see how many of these bad decisions were made by the idiots elected in 2010.

Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell was elected in the last election. The rest of them are making pretty good money and politicians supported by both the left and the right made decisions with your money. They are paid by you. Where is the accountability and transparency?

These decisions cost every hard working taxpayer and local business money.
