Jurors in Barnes case told to read justifiable homicide instruction and clarify question

I did not cover the Jason Barnes jury trial but I watched some of the proceedings, including closing arguments. I know the jury started deliberations Friday afternoon. After lunch today, there was a note from the jury.

The request for readback of Ms. S. Jones' testimony was simple. Court reporter will prep and do that.

There was a question and some discussion about it was on record but after the response was sent, Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees requested that the livestream be turned off for off record discussions.

The jury had a question but it was unclear so they have been asked for more clarification and instructed to read jury instruction 3470  which has to do with right to self defense and justifiable homicide.
