Frederick Bernard Adams was arrested by the Rio Dell Police Department on several sex crimes and child molestation charges.
Adam is charged with one misdemeanor PC 647.6(A)(1) annoying or molesting a child and the rest of the counts are felonies. PC 236 false imprisonment; PC 243.4(a) sexual battery; PC 288.5(a) continuous sexual abuse of a child under the age of 14; two counts PC288 (C)(1) lewd or lascivious acts with a child age 14 ; PC 288(b)(1) lewd act with a child by force or fear and PC 288 (a) lewd acts with a child under 14.
Bail is $490,000. I confirmed his date of birth and his identity with people who know him locally. Based on that, his Facebook profile and online search, Adams works for Humboldt Sawmill Allweather Wood and lives in Rio Dell. He has also lived in Fortuna and Scotia.
