Jury trial for murder suspect Brandon Watson was scheduled for May 17. There was no courtroom available next week.
Previous time estimate was 8 weeks with jury selection. However based on discussion with court staff, since a panel will be ready before then, trial assignment is on May 28 and jury trial is scheduled to start June 1 with jury selection.
Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Watson's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor.
5/28: At trial assignment, Mr. Rees is currently in trial in Courtroom 3. That is expected to conclude next week. Attorneys are expected to meet with Judge Lawrence Killoran on June 2 with jury selection for the Watson trial to start on June 3.
