Bear River homicide suspect is in Humboldt jail

(HCSO)

Murder suspect Mauricio Johnson was booked into the Humboldt jail yesterday evening. He was extradited from Utah on a warrant and brought back to Humboldt by a HCCF team. HCSO PIO Samantha Karges told me Johnson is being held without bail.

Johnson's attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan has not met with him since he was booked into the Humboldt jail yesterday. That is only applicable to the time I am publishing this post. I will update with more information from her later.

In February, I was the first to report that Johnson had been charged with three counts of murder; one special allegation of personally and intentionally discharging a firearm causing great bodily injury/death and one special allegation of multiple murder.
