Livestream issues, another attorney a no show

Trial setting was scheduled on May 26 for former Humboldt County Building and Planning Department employee Patrick McTigue.

There was no livestream on until 8:53, then it kept being turned on and off for some reason between every case. Finally court tech came in to operate the livestream and some cases were called. Retired Judge John Feeney isn't tech savvy and it seems the court bailiff in there is not either.

Deputy District Attorney Steven Steward is the prosecutor. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is McTigue's attorney. They couldn't get hold of Mr. Russo.

Besides sitting around wasting time on Humboldt Superior Court and the numerous issues of "court by Zoom", more time is required to follow up which involves my time and those providing information.

Trial confirmation is on 8/10; jury trial on 8/16.

Public Defender Marek Reavis has been MIA. Deputy Public Defender Luke Brownfield shows up whenever. You have the rest of the PD's office covering for attorneys in jury trials or not in the office.
