SCAM ALERT: We’ve been notified of a phone scam claiming to be the “Hydesville Police Department” and asking for donations towards a police fundraising drive.
While this scam is likely easy for many of our residents to spot, those unfamiliar with or new to the area may fall victim.
The HCSO has no current fundraising efforts in place. Any fundraising activities will be announced prominently on our social media and website pages. We do not solicit random donations or collect payment information over the phone.
