"The final election night results are very encouraging.  I am extremely grateful for the team of hardworking people who took time away from their personal lives to knock on doors and spread the word of my candidacy."

I asked Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads about the elections results for District Attorney this morning. She leads both her her opponents, Deputy Public Defender Adrian Kamada and local attorney Michael Acosta by a significant margin.

"I’ve been asked about the final election night results & how I feel," said Ms. Eads.

"The final election night results are very encouraging.  I am extremely grateful for the team of hardworking people who took time away from their personal lives to knock on doors and spread the word of my candidacy.  So many people stepped up and offered help and support — not just for the campaign but for Humboldt County.  Yes, we have our challenges, but we all are so blessed to live in beautiful Humboldt County—the people and our surroundings."
