Trial confirmation for Michael Acosta and Sarah Carroll is scheduled this morning was continued by defense to 6/30. Jury trial is currently set to start on 7/11/22.
There may be a motion by Acosta's attorney to continue the jury trial since he recently received discovery. People believe all discovery has been given.
I am doing another post with exclusive information including why new prosecutors have been assigned. Former Deputy DA Jane Mackie resigned May 31.
Ms. Andrea Sullivan is Carroll's attorney. Mr. Zach Curtis was court appointed last October to represent Acosta. Deputy District Attorney Jane Mackie is the prosecutor for the case.
6/30: Jury trial for July 11 vacated. Trial setting on 7/20.
