The real story is that Rex and the good ole boys lost bigly

There are over 20,000 votes still being processed but based on the election results so far, the real story is that Rex and the good ole boys lost bigly. 

The good ole boys have lost their majority on the BOS.  Since 2010, the good ole boys and the so called conservatives have lost the Eureka City Council, Steve Madrone ousted Ryan Sundberg and now beat Larry Doss. The good ole boys taint their chosen candidates and have lost to progressive, left leaning or candidates who had a diverse coalition.

The failed Rex, Rob McBeth, Storme Winterr strategy, the big signs, and all that money went down the toilet. The Arkley and Hunt endorsements meant nothing and the dirty anon strategy of the Adrian Kamada campaign failed.

Rex et al don't get to take credit for Assistant Deputy District Attorney Stacey Eads and Deputy District Attorney Steven Stewards leads/wins. If anything, had Rexy, Bushnell and the Brady bunch stayed out of the judicial races, the lead would be higher.

The outcome of Mike Newman and Doss's race shows that people do believe Karen Paz Dominguez and they are also not falling for the lies and failed promises the good ole boys made since 2010 but never deliver. Newman and Doss chose their alliances and endorsers.  There are a lot of people who don't like Rex, Billy and the good ole boys.

I warned both privately before this election about hitching their wagons to certain people. Just as I warned and tried to tell others since 2010. People can listen or not; it is their choice. 

I no longer care or associate with any of those people. They can have their insecure egos stroked by sycophants who are ineffective and consistently make them lose. 

I was not surprised by the election results. How you run your campaign matters. What feedback you get matters. Who you listen to matters. While candidates were campaigning, I made some observations which have been confirmed by the election results.

I am still hoping that Juan Cervantes will be elected as the next Clerk Recorder/Registar of Voters and there will be no runoff between him and Tiffany Nielsen. 

I am still waiting to see what the numbers will be in the Paz Dominguez and Cheryl Dillingham race. I am not doom and gloom where I think the Auditor Controller race result is fait accompli. Still over 20,000 votes left and this particular race is a wild card. Even if the rubber stamping cronies get Dillingham in place, it isn't over with this June 2022 election.

Rex et al put so much effort into one race. They used the unions, the County department heads, the Humboldt social pressure and the Humboldt Connected clique to spread a lot of misinformation and their agenda to lazy people who did not bother to educate or research themselves and others just tuned out the constant noise. A lot of people directly and indirectly economically benefit from working, receiving funds with the County or have spouses, friends working at the County. They chose their selfish interests over decency and transparency. 

Several people who see through the bs are so busy surviving and working two or three jobs, they just didn't vote. Kent Sawatzky, the idiot who thinks he has any impact on anything including elections, told me he wanted Karen to lose because it was better for his lawsuit. Too many people like him in Humboldt with money who have no idea how to use it effectively. They want control; they chose those who do their bidding. They lose.

The bullies are gloating. They think everything is  back to how its was before where no one will pay attention to what they want to shove under the carpet. They think there won't be any new lawsuits. They think the State is just going to dismiss the lawsuit against the County. Even if that happens, the County is already facing a lot of litigation. There are a lot of people the County has screwed over. People did pay attention to information Karen released. People know what media and who is independent in Humboldt and who they can trust.

The sellouts on the left and right worked against Karen and the local media that enabled them  revealed to more people by their actions what I have been saying all along. Sean Quincey and the others are so dumb; they think they won. 

Eventually, people chose their pocketbook, what is in their best interest and most who are two faced in Humboldt go where it is convenient. 

Will this election change the cronyism and blatant disregard Humboldt government has for regular folk? Of course not, different faces, different overlords, same corrupt system.
