On September 4, 2026, Humboldt County Correctional Deputies were alerted to an incarcerated person experiencing a serious medical emergency. Correctional Deputies and facility medical personnel immediately initiated emergency response procedures and lifesaving measures.
Through these coordinated efforts, the individual received emergency medical care until they could be transported to a local hospital for further treatment. The quick actions, professionalism, and teamwork demonstrated by staff played a critical role in providing timely care that ultimately helped save the individual’s life.
