I asked the City of Eureka what all these construction projects in Old Town and Downtown Eureka pay for parking

 

Yesterday, I asked the project manager a follow up question about the proposed parking changes 

With all these construction projects taking up parking, do they pay anything? I specifically asked about Old Town and Downtown Eureka.

Got no response. So, I contacted City of Eureka Assistant City Manager Pam Powell. She promptly responded, "All of the construction projects paid building permit fees and sewer impact fees. I don't have any idea how many workers may be purchasing parking permits for parking lots. The city has received over 1 million to date with expected revenue of another 850,000 to be received for both sewer impact fees and building permits. All of the buildings help the City meet our RHNA number obligations which has additional value to the City."
