Judge Wilson denies defense motion for acquittal in Marion Miller trial

 



The People finished presenting evidence yesterday and defense had no witnesses or evidence to present in Marion Miller's 2024 case in which he is charged with attempted murder, resisting an executive officer, assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm with a special allegation for great and  bodily injury and criminal threats.

Retired Humboldt Superior Court Judge Christopher Wilson has been assigned to this trial. Senior Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor. Ms. Rebecca Linkous is Miller's attorney. 

Yesterday, Judge Wilson denied defense PC 1118.1 motion for acquittal.
