Defense motion to use alleged victim's past sexual conduct to attack credibility denied in Clayton Miller trial

 

These are only some of the posts I have done on forcible rape and domestic violence suspect Clayton Miller who is currently in trial for his 2025 case. Three 2026 cases are trailing.

I have been adding updates to the July 12, 2026 post in which the last update was that the trial started on 9/23.

On 9/24, jury selection was completed and the jury was sworn. Miller has gone through defense attorneys. The latest is Mr. Ken Bareilles. Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor.

 Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward denied the defense 782 motion today which was filed under seal.
