Ivan McBeth was arrested by CHP for DUI on August 3,2026. He was released on OR. The Humboldt County District Attorney filed a complaint on 9/4/26. Araignment is scheduled for this afternoon.
Usually when someone is arrested for a DUI, posts bond or is released on OR and it is a misdemeanor, it takes months for charges to be filed. This complaint was filed by Shelly Small.
Deputy DA Andy Truitt appeared on the case this afternoon at arraignment. Public Defender's Office was appointed by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Trial confirmation is on 1/6/27; jury trial on 1/11/27.
Don't know if this is the same Ivan McBeth yet.
